Sydney Wedding Bands and Live Music

Music can make your wedding night one to remember and a live band provides a lot of energy and entertainment for your guests to dance to. DJ's are a good option, but for real oommph and something a bit different from your usual wedding a good live act can be the icing on the cake that is your wedding day.

We review a number of Sydney based bands that play music live at weddings and receptions, from jazz quartets to full rock bands.

Slide McBride	Slide McBride	Slide McBride are a fantasic high energy jazz band. They can play funky jazz, mellow back ground chill out music, and also energetic rock numbers that will get everyone at your wedding jumping up and down! Their lead singer is an excellent vocalist with a quirky and outgoing character, and we were very impressed with their versatility and range of songs. We can't recommend them more highly!
The Botanics	The Botanics	If you combine jazz, soul, hip hop, indie, and roots you'll get the Botannics, a great Northern Beaches band. These guys are a core three piece group but often extend their sound with up to four or five add-on members to get a fantastic range of instruments and music. They have played at all the major music festivals, and are regulars on the Sydney music scene at such venues as the Basement. For something totally different at your wedding the Botanics are a solid choice.
